The Golden Dawn Saga is a TRUE story written not by a yellow journalist, but by the Imperator of the world's largest Golden Dawn order. This is our story - The story of the struggle of the Alpha Omega and our outer order, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn to remain a shining beacon of light for those seeking spiritual evolution - free of control by the Dark Hand of the totalitarian SRIA.

This struggle has not been easy. During my 20 year tenure as Golden Dawn Imperator and Archon Basileus of the Alpha Omega, rival orders have attacked and reviled us on the internet, sued us in court, published our rituals, rewritten our history, and maligned the founder of our order. We have reached out to our detractors over and over. We even invited them to a conclave of Adepts, and offered to share advanced spiritual practices from the Secret Chiefs with them. In reply, they threatened anyone attending with expulsion, then attacked our order ferociously on the Internet immediately afterwards ...

... As has been revealed in previous episodes of The Golden Dawn Saga, most of this has been orchestrated from behind the scenes by the Dark Hand of SRIA.

This struggle of the AO is not by any means an isolated incident. Wherever forces of Light gather to assist and aid mankind in its spiritual evolution, they are always opposed and attacked by forces of Darkness. Since ancient times, there has been a titanic magical struggle between a great collective of white magicians, struggling from behind the scenes to aid mankind in its spiritual development and ascent. 

This "Fraternity of Sages of Light" has thoughout history been opposed by a formidable group of black magicians seeking to dominate and control mankind spiritually and politically. This perennial struggle between Forces of Light and Darkness, with the fate of mankind hanging in the balance,  is symbolised as the titanic struggle between a Cross of Light and a Cross of Darkness. 

The Cross of Light

In the Second Order of the Alpha Omega, the R.R. et A.C., we wear a rose cross descending from the primordial Cross of Light.

The complete name of the Second Order of the Golden Dawn is the Rosae Rubeae et Aureae Crucis, meaning the Ruby Rose and the Cross of Gold. This alludes to the original, primordial form of the Cross of Light, which has since most ancient times been the primary symbol of the Fraternity of the Sages of Light - an enameled red cross made of purest gold and worn over the heart of the Adept.

There have been many variants of this cross down through history. Here are a just few of them:

Known by ancient Rosicrucians as the Golden and Rosy Cross, this Cross of Light has at all times in history assisted the spiritual evolution of mankind through true initiation. The Cross of Light plays an essential role not only in Rosicrucian history, but is also primary symbol of the Freemasonic Rite of Memphis and Misraim (in my opinion the most spritually and initiatically valuable of all Freemasonic Rites). 

Thus, the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis and Misraim of Freemasonry (in which I am 33, 90, 96), the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha Omega, and the German Golden and Rosy Cross order all the share the following legend of our common origin:

At the beginning of our Christian era, there lived in Egypt a great initiate named Ormus; called Ormesius by the Greeks. Ormus was a priest of Serapis in the city of Alexandria and an initiate of the Hermetic mysteries. Ormesius forsaw the rise of Christianity, and thus was converted to the new religion by St. Mark in AD 44. To ensure the survival and transmission of the Royal Art, Ormus stripped the mysteries their Egyptian trappings, and re-veiled them in the symbols and rites of the new religion. To preserve the initiatic transmission as well, Ormesius founded a Hermetic mystery school called the ”Fraternity of the Sages of Light,” known to initiates through the centuries as the the Ordo Ormesius, or the Order of Ormus. 

The Order has manifested to the outer world under many names and has undergone many transformations. In 1111, it was known as the Alliance of Magical Brothers. In 1222, following the defeat of the Crusaders in Jerusalem and the expulsion of Christians from the holy land, the surviving members of the order disbursed across the world. Thus the light of our fraternity was carried to France where the Knights Templar were formed by Hugues de Payns with the aid of the Alliance. Thus the red cross of our order became the primary emblem of the Knights Templar, who provided the spiritual implulse for a new Crusade to retake the holy land. 

In 1314, when when the Knights Templar were supressed in France, the last Grand Master, Jaques de Molay, sent his nephew, the Count of Beaujeu, into the Templar crypt in Paris, to recover a chest filled with the esoteric secrets of the order. These documents were dispatched with an envoy of knights to Scotland, where they arrived in 1333, and were later used to lay the spiritual foundations for Freemasonry. Time and again across the centuries, our order has manifested and been known by many names. In 1444. It was known as the Order of the Cross, in 1555 as the Order the Rosy Cross, and in 1666 as the Brothers of the Golden Cross, and 1777 as the Order of the Golden and Rosy Cross. In 1888, it was known as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, then Rosicrucian Order of Alpha Omega.

From the earliest times, initiates of our order have recognized one another by the primary ensignia of our order: an enameled red cross made of purest gold and worn over the heart of the Adept. Legend has it this cross was originally drawn with the blood of Christ upon a white shield by Joseph of Arimathea, and that this shield was carried by Galahad on the Grail quest. 

This same cross has also been worn by numerous Templar Rites in Freemasonry, including the Strict Observance, the Scottish Templar, and the Swedish Rite of Freemasonry. This Cross of Light is a most fundamental symbol in the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha Omega, representing both the legend of our origins and the descent of our mysteries from ancient Egypt.

Unfortunately, as have all bearers of the Cross of Light of the Fraternity of the Sages of Light throughout history, the Alpha Omega today finds itself at odds with powerful Dark forces - we find ourselves opposed by a Black Brotherhood, which has existed since ancient times under many guises, always wearing as its primary symbol, various permutations of:

The Black Cross is regarded my many as a thoroughly Satanic symbol. This Cross of Darkness also has a connection with the Crusades - with the Teutonic Knights. 

The ancient Brotherhood of the Black Cross has throughout history opposed the Fraternity of the Sages of Light. Whereas the Sages of Light have worked for Millennia to further the spiritual evolution of mankind and the Solar ascension of developed Souls, the Black Cross Brotherhood has always sought power and domination, keeping mankind enslaved in matter and blind to the spiritual, energetic dimensions.

Perpetual enemies of the Sages of Light,  the Brotherhood of the Black Cross has throughout history involved itself in politics, power, and the subjugation of mankind. Unsurprisingly, the Black Cross Brotherhood has perpetually attempted to subvert both political and esoteric movements. The Golden Dawn is merely the most recent spiritual movement that The Black Cross has attempted to subvert, creating a host of client orders, which can be readily recognized, once you understand The Black Cross as common symbol for each of them.

In the esoteric world today, we find The Black Cross in a host of Black Cross Rosicrucian orders including SRIA (Anglia), SRIA (America) and the ORC (Order of the Rose and Cross), and lurking behind Golden Dawn puppet orders they control. The Black Cross is also found behind one extremist political movement after the other throughout history, as well as behind one Holocaust after the other, from the extermination of Pagans under the Roman Catholic Inquisition, to the extermination of Jews in Nazi Germany.

I find it deeply disturbing that today we find The Black Cross not only in Black Cross Rosicrucian Orders like the SRIA, but also in other Christian extremist groups like the Ku Klux Klan.

Astonishing Update to Secret College Invitation (Golden Dawn Witch Hunt Revealed)

This week's announcement of the Secret College of the Adepti of the Golden Dawn caused a major earthquake in the esoteric community. Privately, the response has been overwhelmingly positive, with Adepts secretly contacting the Alpha Omega from across the Golden Dawn community discretely seeking advanced R.R. et A.C. training and magical practice beyond the well known material published by Israel Regardie where other Golden Dawn orders leave off.

The corrupt Golden Dawn Chiefs and Hierophants who had been stifling their Adepts spiritual development by forbidding them access to any traditional Golden Dawn magic beyond published material have not been so happy, however. They have reacted angrily, accusing the A.O. of a whole host of things. The comments section of the Secret College article virtually exploded with hate filled posts from "anonymous" trolls.

There was clearly an initial, overly emotional reaction. This led to a few slip ups and surprising revelations. Here is a brief summary.

1. Leonard Stevens writes: "Last year Nick Farrell told me that "He had been ordered to not to associate with me, because I had aligned myself with Griffin." This statement is conclusive proof that leaders of allegedly independent Golden Dawn groups are taking orders "from other parties," further implicating the Dark Hand of SRIA polarizing and stirring strife in a totalitarian attempt to seize control of the Golden Dawn The segregationist SRIA and ORC hate and isolate the Alpha Omega because we fight for the rights of Pagans, Jews, Muslims, and Thelemites in the Golden Dawn. The below picture aptly summarizes the extreme level of manipulation of the Golden Dawn by the WASP Supremacist SRIA:

2. An anonymous SRIA troll admits SRIA is forbidding Golden Dawn Adepts to come into contact with the spiritual practices beyond Adeptus Minor (5=6) coming from the legitimate Secret Chiefs.

UNVEILED: Secret College of Golden Dawn Adepti

The International Conclave of Golden Dawn Adepts (held in March 2012) was a smashing success! Golden Dawn Adepts from around the world gathered together near Las Vegas, Nevada for a full week of good food, initiation, and an introduction to the advanced Second Order teachings and systems of magic recently released by the Secret Chiefs of the Third Order. Those in attendance were awed by the beauty and majesty of these magical practices.

Sadly, reports have surfaced from members of numerous Golden Dawn orders of threats of expulsion to any Adept who attended the conclave, or even who contacted the AO for more information. Although the Conclave was well attended by Adepts from 8 different countries, there were many more who would have liked to have attended, yet did not because they were afraid of expulsion from their order. Following the conclave, Nick Farrell, for example, actually bragged about having had a spy at the conclave, in order to reinforce this fear.

It is one thing when, acting out of envy, unethical leaders of Golden Dawn temples and orders defame the Alpha Omega in books and on the internet.

It is entirely another matter, however, when Golden Dawn leaders deliberately block the spiritual development of their initiates. The spiritual development of Golden Dawn initiates is a sacred responsibility. To actively block Golden Dawn Adepts in their spiritual ascension by cutting them off from advanced teachings and practices is beyond reprehensible.

To remedy this situation, following careful reflection, the Greatly Honored Chiefs of the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha Omega have decided to create a ...

... so that qualified Adepts from the ENTIRE Golden Dawn community can learn and use the advanced magical practices recently released by the Secret Chiefs without fear of expulsion or other reprisals from unethical leaders in their own temples or orders.

As a classical Golden Dawn order, we in the Alpha Omega understand the value and importance of initiatic secrecy. This includes not only the importance of keeping initiatic transmissions sacred and protected with secrecy, but also to protect the identities of our Initiates and Adepts.

A Simple Breathing Exercise

A VERY Simple breathing method that could save your life…

What do the following people have in common?:

• Martial artists

• Yoga practitioners

• Policemen

• Deep sea divers

• Athletes

• Top business executives

• Stage performers

• Soldiers under fire

• Asthmatics

• YOU

They all need to get control of their stress response, manage their adrenaline and get to a calm & controlled state – FAST.

Luckily it’s very easy. The result is just a few breaths away.

So how is it done? 

The most important thing is to start with the OUT breath.

• Just breath out 1-2-3-4

• Then hold your lungs empty 1-2-3-4

• Breath in 1-2-3-4

• And hold your lungs full 1-2-3-4

Do this at for at least 4 cycles and repeat as needed.

That’s IT, that’s all it is…

Sound too good to be true?

Try it. You’ll be joining some of the world’s most elite high performance human beings.

Some tips:

• Ideally you want to really press your stomach muscles on the exhale.

• Really wrap your belly around your spine.

• Breathe all the way out.

• Then when its time to breathe in you just let go of your muscles and your lungs fill – no effort, no stress.

• Just let your belly drop.

If you are having trouble getting the hang of this, you can try kneeling on all fours.

• Pull the belly up against the spine – Exhale

• Hold it – lungs empty

• Let go – belly drops down and air streams into your lungs. 

As an experiment you can also see quite how empty you can make your lungs.

When you have fully breathed out, all the way, and you think there is nothing left…try singing

Lalalalala

You’ll be amazed.

Of course there is much more you can do to manage your internal state and greatly improve your performance.

But for now. Just try this ONE THING. 

BTW: This type of breathing, though based in yoga, qigong, martial arts, is now also known as tactical breathing, or combat breathing and is commonly taught to law enforcement officers, soldiers, and others in high stress occupations.

And it’s not just us that says so – here is some scientific research:

In “Fear Factor”, his review of Amanda Ripley’s fascinating-sounding The Unthinkable: Who Survives When Disaster Strikes, published in City Journal 21 June 2008, John Robb writes:

"… in complex disasters, the biological-fear response can slow thinking so severely that it can kill you."

We can counter fear, however. The best method, FBI trainers say, is to get control of your breathing. “Combat breathing” is a simple variant on Lamaze or yoga training — breathe in four counts, hold four counts, exhale four counts, and repeat. It works because breathing is a combination of the somatic (which we control) and the autonomic (which we can’t easily control) nervous systems. Regulation of the autonomic system deescalates the biological-fear response and returns our higher-level brain functions to full capacity. So one of the best ways you can prepare yourself to overcome fear in a crisis is as simple as a meditation, Lamaze, or yoga class.

It works!

Things have gone bad in a heartbeat. The domestic abuse suspect who was sitting peacefully on the couch just seconds ago suddenly stood up and ran for the bedroom locking the door behind him. Inside you hear the unmistakable sound of the slide of a handgun being racked as the man screams, 'You got thirty seconds to get out of my house or I'll kill you!' 

As your heart beats so fast you can feel the pounding in your chest, your vision narrows. Through the tunnel vision you are focused on the bedroom door from behind the wall you're using as concealment. You can hear the woman screaming but she sounds far away in the distance, even though she's right next to you where you shoved her to keep her safe. You see your partner calling on the radio but you can't hear him even though he's only across the hall. 

Suddenly you're startled by the sound of the door unlocking. You see the doorknob turn and the door starts to open and everything goes into slow motion. The first thing that appears in the doorway is a semi-automatic pistol that must be a least a .50 caliber. As it raises you realize it's pointed in your direction. As you try and focus on the shaking front sight of your pistol that has suddenly appeared in view, one thought stands out in the flood of thoughts and emotions in your mind: 'If I have to shoot, I hope I hit him.'

The hit ratio of police officers involved in gunfights varies. The U.S. Department of Justice study 'In the Line of Fire' quotes 41%. A method of improving those ratios might be very simple...as simple as breathing. 

In 1998 as a law enforcement instructor at the Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, Minnesota I was assigned the task of developing a new Officer Safety and Survival class. At the same time I had also enrolled in a Masters Degree in Education program and decided to use the Officer Safety class as a basis for my required class project. These two situations allowed me to research, develop and implement specific drills to try and improve police officer safety and survival for my students once they were employed as law enforcement officers. 

During that time I had the opportunity to read and use three books as my sources for these drills and the class itself. Those books were, 'On Killing' by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, 'Sharpening the Warriors Edge: The Psychology & Science of Training' by Bruce Siddle and 'Deadly Force Encounters' by Alexis Artwohl and Loren Christensen. Essentially each of the authors' ideas mirrors the others in their ideas about training police officers. 

In a presentation at the 1998 International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors Annual Training Conference I had the opportunity to hear Lt. Col. Dave Grossman speak. During his 'The Bulletproof Mind' presentation he listed three approaches to controlling combat stress. He listed Combat Breathing: Before, During and After Combat; 'Stress Inoculation' in Training; and Conditioned Responses in Combat from Training. 

This article will focus on the results of the introduction of 'Combat Breathing' into a Simunition scenario and its effect on student performance. Before going into the testing procedures a brief explanation behind the need for Combat Breathing: 

Siddle states in his book, 'Sharpening the Warriors Edge' that research shows that fine motor skills start to deteriorate when the heart rate reaches 115 beats per minute (bpm).

 He defines a fine motor skill as 'skills performed by small muscle mass or groups, such as hands and fingers, and frequently involve hand-eye coordination. In a survival skill category, a fine motor skill would include...shooting a firearm.' Siddle goes on to explain that the higher the heart's rate the lower the ability to perform fine motor skills. In other words, as our heart rate goes up our ability to accurately fire a weapon goes down. 

In order to achieve a lower heart rate and increase shooting performance Siddle and Grossman advocate 'belly breathing' or 'combat breathing.' 

'Belly Breathing' is described by Siddle as, 'slow deep breaths expanding the belly and controlling the respiration cycle. The respiration cycle technique advocates inhaling for a specific count (normally three seconds), holding the breath for three seconds and controlling the exhale for three seconds. After repeating the technique for three cycles stomach push the hand out each time they inhale and to go in each time they exhale. Once the student understands the proper technique they are encouraged to use it during stressful situations. The use of Combat Breathing allows for more air to be drawn into the lungs resulting in more oxygen available to the bloodstream. The body, having more oxygen available to it, lowers the demand for blood and this lowers the heart rate. 

The author having seen the effects of this type of breathing in the martial arts wanted to see its results for police trainees during a stressful situation --a Simunition scenario. A total of 66 students took part in the scenario. The author has named this scenario the Ring-Around-the-Car drill. In it a student is placed in the driver's seat of a squad car. A suspect's vehicle is parked in front of it in a typical traffic stop position. After the officer exits the squad and before the officer reaches the rear window of the suspect vehicle the suspect driver may exit the car and approach the officer. Sometime during the scenario the suspect produces a weapon and fires at the officer. 

Prior to this scenario the students have been instructed in the use of cover and concealment, shooting from behind cover, and have practiced moving to points of cover during a traffic stop. The drill had already been practiced several times with dummy guns used by both the suspect and the officer. Additionally, the officers had done the drill with a dummy gun while the suspect was armed with a Simunition pistol to practice tactical movement. 

In this particular scenario the student was armed with a Simunition Glock pistol and given one round of ammunition. Only one round is used to promote accuracy and to emphasize the importance of making the first shot count. Later drills allowed for the use of more rounds but never more than three rounds. This is done in order to try and reduce the tendency to 'spray and pray' (rapid fire without proper aiming in hopes of hitting the target) and to keep the scenarios from degenerating into a free-for-all firefight. 

The instructor played the part of the suspect. The rules were that if the suspect or officer were hit in the arm or leg the scenario would continue with the 'injured' person stuck acting out the appropriate injury. If the suspect were struck in the torso or head the scenario would stop. If the officer was struck in the torso they were to continue with the drill. 

For those not familiar with the Simunition products a brief description follows: 

The Simunition pistol is either a drop in barrel for a semi-automatic pistol or in the case of the Glock a specially manufactured pistol. This product only allows for Simunition ammunition to be fired eliminating the chance of an accidental introduction of live ammunition into the scenario. 

The Simunition round is a specially designed cartridge that propels a plastic capsule containing a marking paste. The projectile travels at about 400 feet per second and provides for immediate feedback (pain) when struck by it. Each of the participants in the scenario wore the appropriate protective clothing --facemask, long clothing and gloves.

Of the 66 participants in this scenario 44 were coached on Combat Breathing by an instructor several days before the test and just prior to entering the exercise. 22 students participated in the scenario without any instruction or coaching on Combat Breathing. The 66 participants were members of three squads of seniors of the Law Enforcement Program at the Alexandria Technical College. A comparison of basic marksmanship scores of the three groups indicated no more than a two-point difference in class qualification averages (Qual Avg.). 

The results were as follows:

While the marksmanship abilities of the three groups during firearms training were almost identical the inclusion of a stress reduction technique (Combat Breathing) during the Simunition scenario dramatically increased the hit ratio or the ability to aim and hit a moving human target. 

Those classes that were coached on the breathing technique had hit ratios of 64% and 80%. 

Those students who did not use the breathing exercise experienced only a 30% hit ratio. 

This 30% hit ratio during this drill closely echoes the hit ratio of police officers involved in real gunfights. 

Center Mass Hits: 

Striking a suspect during a gunfight is highly desirable. However, those shots that have the most immediate effect at stopping a gunfight are those that strike center mass. Center mass is generally defined as the area of the torso above the waist and below the neck. The head was not included as a center mass hit in this study due to its small target area, rounded surface, and hard skeletal structure that frequently results in rounds ricocheting off the target. 

The Combat Breathers of the study had a 64% and 77% center mass hit ratio. 

The non-Combat Breathers had only a 7% center mass hit ratio. 

The use of Combat Breathing showed a dramatic increase in the ability to hit the area of the body most likely to stop an aggressive deadly force assault by a suspect. The sooner an attacker is stopped from attacking the officer or another person the less likely the officer or another will be injured or killed. 

Shooting Ratios: 

Shooting at a moving target who may shoot at you or already is shooting at you while you are trying to maintain cover and distance, issuing verbal commands and making tactical and deadly force decisions requires a lot of thought in a very short period of time. Combine that with the need to accurately aim and fire a sidearm at a moving human being in an ever-changing situation and the number of thought processes going on at once are staggering. 

Each of the students involved in this scenario had received the same training up to the time of the scenario. The only addition was the use of Combat Breathing. Yet the Combat Breathers had a shooting rate of 70% while the non-Combat Breathers had a shooting ratio of 59%. 

It would appear that the Combat Breathers had an advantage in their ability to think through the process and fire their weapons. The non-Combat Breathers showed a lower incident of firing even though in every scenario the student was faced with a situation that clearly required the application of deadly force.

Heart Rates 

In reviewing the heart rates of the classes the results of Combat Breathing can be clearly seen. Each student checked his or her heart rate [beats per minute (bpm)] prior to the Simunition Drill. After the drill was completed the students' heart rates were checked again. The results  of those findings:

The two Combat Breathing classes (C &D) showed a lower average increase in heart rate. This indicates that the use of Combat Breathing does reduce heart rate and increase shooting performance. The Combat Breathing classes had much higher Hit Ratios. 

Conclusion: 

The use of Combat Breathing had a clearly seen effect on the students' ability to accurately deliver a projectile towards a hostile moving target while under stress. The results clearly indicate the advantage of using Combat Breathing during stressful situations. Some have said that the use of Simunition is the closest thing you can get to a real gunfight. The author realizes that there is a big difference between shooting at someone with Simunition and shooting at someone with real bullets. The biggest factor would be the level of stress brought on by a life and death struggle. 

Combat Breathing is specifically designed to reduce the effects of that stress on officer performance. If used during a real deadly force encounter or other stressful situations the author believes, based on the results shown, it will increase officer performance and improve officer survival.

"Was the Christian or Hermetic Qabalah a Tool to Convert Jews to the Christian Faith? - Journal of the Golden Dawn Research Center

In studying the history of the Christian Qabalah, or Hermetic Qabalah as it is also known to us, I have often seen the argument that Christians mainly took upon them to study the Jewish Qabalah because they saw many parrallells with Christian doctrine and thus devised a plan to convert Jews to Christianity. In this respect even Giovanni Pico della Mirandola and the Platonic Academy of Florens has been accused of taking part of this Christian scheme of conversions of Jews, lately by the Trinitarian Christian and Golden Dawn student Mr. Wildoak. 

Pico della Mirandola

He repeated that old “truth” regarding Pico, who he refers to as “Mirandola”, to underline his thesis that we cannot look upon the ancient mysteries without resorting to our Christian goggles:

Look at the origins of the Hermetic Qabalah, with Mirandola and others wanting to use it to prove the existence of the Trinity and supremacy of Christianity. Naughty boys.

I personally cannot accept that the reason why Pico della Mirandola embraced the Qabalah was to convert and prozelyze jews. I just don’t buy it. Where is the evidence to substantiate such a claim? In absence of this evidence I will instead present facts that rather speaks against such a prejudicial position.

While there certainly were Christians, like Raymond Lull, who tried to use the HebrewQabalah to use it as a vehicle for conversion of Jews, it is an extreme form of generalization to suppose all Christian Qabalists only seeing the Qabalah as a manipulative prozelysing tool. It has been argued that Lull lacked any profound knowledge of the Qabalah and that he even wasn’t a Qabalist, which is to expect from someone being a fundamentalist Trinitarian Christian trying to save the souls of Jews and Muslims using their own doctrines against them. We know that he devised the Ars Magna to convert people from Islam to Christianity. We know however that Pico, on the other hand, was of a entirely different calibre. Contrarly to Lully and his ilk, Pico was a serious student of the Hebrew wisdom and in it saw traces of what we today would define as the Primordial Tradition.

I hold that Pico della Mirandola was a Esoteric Christian. And with Esoteric Christianity I mean a doctrine which has a perennial outlook on the mysteries. A Esoteric Christian is someone who does comparative studies of many different mystery systems and religions to find the one common denominator, the primal or core doctrine which underlays all temporal traditions. The very raison d’être of the Platonic Academy of Florence was to make this kind of comparative studies between Neo-Platonism, Hermeticism and the Qabalah, and to try to integrate it also with the religion of their times, Christianity. In this respect people as Marsilio Ficino and Pico Della Mirandola were true pioneers and Traditionalist heroes. These Italian reinassance philosophers and estoricists referred to a prisca theologia, the ancient theology, which they believed to be the actual source of all religion and philosophy. Today we refer to it as the Primordial Tradition; two different names for the same thing but developed or redefined in their respective cultural contexts as seen by the perennialists.

This means that they were anything but religious fundamentalists trying to transform or reconstruct the ancient traditions. They rather compared these traditions with each other and saw the many similarities or common threds between them. As an example, in the hypostases of the Christian Trinitarian doctrine, which was originated by Valentinus the Gnostic and originally debunked by early Church Fathers for being heretical and pagan, they saw some parallels with the Qabalistic concept of the Partzufim. However, this doesn’t mean that Pico and his friends of the Academy in the Qabalah saw a confirmation of the truth of the Christian Trinitarian doctrine as represented by the Church. I rather hold that they saw a common theme and that this all confirmed each tradition as  authentic and representing a universal doctrine. In this spirit Pico claimed that Christianity was founded largely on Qabalistic doctrines, stating that “no science can better convince us of the divinity of Jesus Christ than magic and the Kabbalah”.

We also know that both Marsilio Ficino and Pico Della Mirandola was charged of heresy by the Inquisition, despite the latter’s assurance that Neo-Platonism and Hermeticism were fully consistent with Christian doctrine as exemplified in the previous quote. In 1486 Mirandola wrote Conclusiones philosophicae, cabalasticae et theologicae in which he presented 900 theses, representing a blend of Platonism, Neo-Platonism, Aristotelism, Hermeticism and the Qabalah. The Inquisition found 13 of these to be heretical to the Christian Trinitarian faith. Pico wrote an apology entitled Mirandolani, Concordiae comitis which he later was forces to renounce. He soon fled Italy for the fear of his life. Would Pico has been a insidious manipulator, saving souls to the Christian Church, as Mr. Wildoak suggests, he surely wouldn’t have been a victim of the Inquisition. He would have been a part of it.

There is also another perspective to consider here. What if Pico simply tried to make the “jewish” Qabalalah recognized by the Church and thus veiled its old mysteries in a Christian setting, in much the similar way as the Hermetic School veiled its alchemical tradition using Christian symbols and analogies? This is in line with how the Tradition adapts and reforms its message to the current times and the cultural mindset of the people it is supposed to influence. This is often how a Tradition is saved from extinction; this is how it is kept alive and workable through the generations.

All mystery systems, all kind of esotericisms, uses mythology as a frame work. Images and analogies, and metaphors, are used to convey a secret doctrine, using the “language of the birds”. The ancient Hermeticists used Greek and Egyptian pantheons to convey their message. The medieval Qabalists used the myths of the Old Testament in the same manner. Renaissance Neo-Platonists and Hermeticists used the New Testament as well to veil their mysteries. The Sufis of the middle-east use the stories of the Quran in the same manner. This is only natural. 

It is not the same as the mysteries are interpreted through the lens of the Christian religion, as Mr. Wildoak asserts. It is the other way around; it is the Primordial Tradition – the Prisca Theologia – that uses the current religious imagery and mythology to expound its mysteries. The most obvious evidence of this is that an Esoteric or Gnostic Christian doesn’t interpret the Bible in the same way as does an Evangelist and Exoteric Christian. I personally feel myself more akin to a Turkish or Egyptian Sufi than I do with a Swedish Evangelist and Trinitarian Christian.

I hold that the “religion” and “faith” of an Esotericist is totally different from someone following an Exoteric Religion, of whatever kind. I am talking about the true “religion” of the Primordial Tradition or Prisca Theologia. I place the words “religion” between citation marks as this is not actually a religion as we normally define that word, i.e. as an institutionalised form of spirituality. It is better to simply speak of a living Tradition with has its true foundation and lineage in the ancient Primordial Tradition, presenting it faithfully enough. 

The greatest adversaries of such an Esoteric “faith” lies within the follower’s own religious sphere in which he is working (i.e. the symbol system that he has chosen or been born into). We all know about the Inquisition and what it did not only to actual pagans but also to so-called “heretics” such as Pico della Mirandola. Today we see the same tragedy happening before our own eyes in Saudi-Arabia and the Wahabi fundamentalism against the Sufi. Fundamentalists just cannot stand a syncretic or perennial view on their own religion. Christians abhors theories that prove the pagan origin of both the Jewish and especially Christian doctrines.

Therefore it is sad to see that the Exotericism of Trinitarian Christianity has started to infest the Esoteric freedom of the Golden Dawn Tradition, as has been proved recently in the de-cloaking of the machinations of the Trinitarian Exoteric Soceitas Rosicruciana in Anglia (S.R.I.A.), Soceitas Rosicruciana Civitatibus Foederatis(S.R.C.F.), Soceitas Rosicruciana in America (S.R.I.A.), and lately theOrder of the Rose Cross (O.R+C), which I refer to as “WASP supremacists” (“WASP” as in “White Anglo-Saxon Protestants”), who have joined forces to infiltrate the Golden Dawn community, placing itself as its Third Order, i.e. effectively replacing the Supernals of the essentially Pagan Primordial Tradition with the temporal and exoteric Trinitarian Protestant tradition. How sad. How very sad.

The SRIA Witch Hunt against the free Golden Dawn continues unchecked. In the same manner that Nazis in Germany did everything they could to eradicate Jews, Christian extremists have for Centuries likewise tried to eradicate Pagans. In fact, the Jewish Holocaust in Nazi Germany bears remarkable resemblance to the Pagan Holocaust at the hands of the Inquisition.

Sadly, the ugly face of Christian extremism has never disappeared. Whenever Christianity becomes a facade for Nazi style racism it becomes particularly dangerous, expecially when it takes on a Masonic veneer as in the case of the SRIA.

Here in the United States, we are all too familiar with Christian racists using a masonic veneer. For example, the Ku Klux Klan uses rituals written by Freemason, Albert Pike. Thus, the danger of the brand of fanatical, racist "Christians only" Rosicrucianism of the SRIA is not to be underestimated. We Americans have witnessed first hand how dangerous such fanatical racists can truly be.

Racist Christianity Unchecked!

Nazi style bigotry masquerading as Christianity should not be taken lightly. Thus it is particularly alarming when an anonymous SRIA troll like Peregrin Wildoak labels anyone who opposes Nazi style Christian racism as an "anti-Christian nutter" the way that SRIA's Peregrin did on his blog this week.

As both a Golden Dawn leader and as a Pagan, I object to such extremist rhetoric. 

Merely because we in the Alpha Omega practice religious and racial tolerance, and because we have the courage to speak out against Nazi style racism veiled as Christianity, does not make us "anti-Christian nutters." In our order, we have many Christian members on an equal basis with Pagans, Jews, and Muslims.

As the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, our order practices Christian mysteries that are part and parcel of the traditional Golden Dawn. What SRIA fanatics and their McGoldenDawn trolls hate most, is that the teachings and curriculum of the Alpha Omega go far beyond the well known Regardie material that dead ends at Adeptus Minor (5=6) - which is ALL they have to offer their students.

In the AO, we are far more than JUST Golden Dawn. We are also ALPHA OMEGA. Our mysteries do not dead end where published material leaves off, as in the McGoldenDawn orders controlled by the SRIA. In the Alpha Omega, we initiate and teach in each and every Golden Dawn grade all the way through Magus (9=2) and beyond!

And the mysteries of the ALPHA OMEGA are not JUST those of the Golden Dawn. Why, after all, the Greek letters, ALPHA and OMEGA instead of, for example, Aleph and Tauv? The letters Alpha and Omega allude to additional  PAGAN mysteries taught exclusively in the AO ...

Sheer envy of our Pagan mysteries is one reason why extremist Christian nutters of SRIA have attacked our order for decades now. They have published our rituals and whatever of our mysteries they could find. They have tried in court to take away our right to call ourselves Golden Dawn. They have defamed our leaders on the internet and our founder, S.L. MacGregor Mathers in self-published attack books.

Jewish members of our order have warned us about the dangers of SRIA historical revisionists like Nick Farrell and Peregrin Wildoak. Our Jewish brethren have seen first hand the lies historical revisionists have spread in recent years about the Jewish Holocaust in Germany.  Thus, they warn us of the dangers of allowing SRIA historical revisionists to rewrite the history the Pagan Holocaust or even of the of the Alpha Omega.

KKK and SRIA: Racist Christianity Unmasked

It is in this light that we must consider statements that SRIA Grand Inquisitor Peregrin wrote today:

"In the European past, when modern (i.e. post Medieval) magic developed Christianity was the filter through which all other religions and spiritual systems were viewed. It so infused the lives, language, outlook and social interactions of everyone from serf to Queen, they had little choice. So all the recently discovered texts and remnants of ancient ‘mysteries’ were viewed, consciously or unconsciously through a Christian based lens."

The above represents a most insidious form of hate filled propaganda. First off, Peregrin redefines magic as though it fell out of the air after Centuries of Pagan Holocaust, and thus could not possibly be Pagan in origin. 

No. According the the Nazi style Christian theology of Peregrin Wildoak and his SRIA handlers, ALL modern magic is of Christian origin!

Give me a break! Just how stupid do Nazi Christians think people are?

SRIA Grand Inquisitor Peregrin continues:

"Well, this is kinda awkward considering the number of historical and modern groups and individuals who have lineage and past lives going back to these non-existent “Egyptian Mysteries”.

In order to further SRIA's racist Christian agenda, Peregrin is here taking an extreme reconstructionist point of view, arguing in effect that no pure elements of ancient Paganism have survived since antiquity. This notion is laughable coming from a non-initiate, as I have reminded Peregrin and over and over in the past. I guess Peregrin believes that if he repeats a lie long enough, it might one day sprout wings and become true.

Merely because the idol of academia Peregrin worships does not have access to the oath bound material of surviving Pagan traditions, does not mean that they do not exist. And even the work of Peregrin's idol, Ronald Hutton does not prove that no elements of Pagan antiquity survived in Italy either. As Hutton himself has admitted, such a matter is beyond the scope of his expertise. On the contrary, ethno-historian Prof. Paolo Portone has presented important evidence indicating ancient Pagan continuity in Italy, despite the Pagan Holocaust.

Moreover, a forthcoming paper by Dianus del Bosco Sacros sheds important new light on Peregrin's vacuous SRIA argument against Pagan survival. I will provide a like to this article once the journal appears in the near future.

Even without this exciting new anthropological data, Peregrin's SRIA thesis nonetheless remains thoroughly flawed. Peregrin's absurd SRIA argument of a "Christian origin" of ALL modern magic was discredited long ago by Professor Morton Smith of Cornell University in his work "Jesus the Magician." Jesus the Magician is a thoroughly documented and fascinating account of the multiple parallels of ancient Pagan Magic practices and how these practices are woven into the "Gospels", or "gods spells" and the "magical spells of Jesus the Magician".

Contrary to Peregrin's SRIA argument that modern Egyptian mysteries are but a Christian reformulation, it is in reality Christianity itself that is but a reformulation of ancient Egyptian and other Pagan mysteries. Take, in conclusion, the mythical story of the life of Jesus Christ himself, which has been stolen nearly wholesale from Egyptian myths of the life of Horus. 

Check these parallels:

1. Both were conceived of a virgin.
2. Both were the "only begotten son" of a god (either Osiris or Yahweh)
3. Horus's mother was Meri, Jesus's mother was Mary.
4. Horus's foster father was called Jo-Seph, and Jesus's foster father was Joseph.
5. Both foster fathers were of royal descent.
6. Both were born in a cave (although sometimes Jesus is said to have been born in a stable).
7. Both had their coming announced to their mother by an angel.
8. Horus; birth was heralded by the star Sirius (the morning star). Jesus had his birth heralded by a star in the East (the sun rises in the East).
9. Ancient Egyptians celebrated the birth of Horus on December 21 (the Winter Solstice). Modern Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25.
10. Both births were announced by angels (this si nto the same as number 7).
11. Both had shepherds witnessing the birth.
12. Horus was visited at birth by "three solar deities" and Jesus was visited by "three wise men".
13. After the birth of Horus, Herut tried to have Horus murdered. After the birth of Jesus, Herod tried to have Jesus murdered.
14. To hide from Herut, the god That tells Isis, "Come, thou goddess Isis, hide thyself with thy child." To hide from Herod, an angel tells Joseph to "arise and take the young child and his mother and flee into Egypt."
15. When Horus came of age, he had a special ritual where his eye was restored. When Jesus (and other Jews) come of age, they have a special ritual called a Bar Mitzvah.
16. Both Horus and Jesus were 12 at this coming-of-age ritual.
17. Neither have any official recorded life histories between the ages of 12 and 30.
18. Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus. Jesus was baptized in the river Jordan.
19. Both were baptized at age 30.
20. Horus was baptized by Anup the Baptizer. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
21. Both Anup and John were later beheaded.
22. Horus was taken from the desert of Amenta up a high mountain to be tempted by his arch-rival Set. Jesus was taken from the desert in Palestine up a high mountain to be tempted by his arch-rival Satan.
23. Both Horus and Jesus successfully resist this temptation.
24. Both have 12 disciples.
25. Both walked on water, cast out demons, healed the sick, and restored sight to the blind.
26. Horus "stilled the sea by his power." Jesus commanded the sea to be still by saying, "Peace, be still."
27. Horus raised his dead father (Osiris) from the grave. Jesus raised Lazarus from the grave. (Note the similarity in names when you say them out loud. Further, Osiris was also known as Asar, which is El-Asar in Hebrew, which is El-Asarus in Latin.)
28. Osiris was raised in the town of Anu. Lazarus was raised in Bethanu (literally, "house of Anu").
29. Both gods delivered a Sermon on the Mount.
30. Both were crucified.
31. Both were crucified next to two thieves.
32. Both were buried in a tomb.
33. Horus was sent to Hell and resurrected in 3 days. Jesus was sent to Hell and came back "three days" later (although Friday night to Sunday morning is hardly three days).
34. Both had their resurrection announced by women.
35. Both are supposed to return for a 1000-year reign.
36. Horus is known as KRST, the anointed one. Jesus was known as the Christ (which means "anointed one").
37. Both Jesus and Horus have been called the good shepherd, the lamb of God, the bread of life, the son of man, the Word, the fisher, and the winnower.
38. Both are associated with the zodiac sign of Pisces (the fish).
39. Both are associated with the symbols of the fish, the beetle, the vine, and the shepherd's crook.
40. Horus was born in Anu ("the place of bread") and Jesus was born in Bethlehem ("the house of bread").
41. "The infant Horus was carried out of Egypt to escape the wrath of Typhon. The infant Jesus was carried into Egypt to escape the wrath of Herod. Concerning the infant Jesus, the New Testament states the following prophecy: 'Out of Egypt have I called my son.'"
42. Both were transfigured on the mount.
43. The catacombs of Rome have pictures of the infant Horus being held by his mother, not unlike the modern-day images of "Madonna and Child."
44. Noted English author C. W. King says that both Isis and Mary are called "Immaculate".
45. Horus says: "Osiris, I am your son, come to glorify your soul, and to give you even more power." And Jesus says: "Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once."
46. Horus was identified with the Tau (cross).
