Hello, I am Vittorja d'Aquino from Valletta, Malta. I am the new press secretary of the European based, 1888 founded, Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. There are many new and exciting developments upcoming in the Golden Dawn. You will not want to miss the forthcoming press releases here on the Golden Dawn blog.

I am somewhat new to the Golden Dawn scene, and I admit I am surprised that there are an entire website and and Facebook group dedicated almost entirely to attacking our order and its leaders. The individuals who run these sites even claim the thousands of members of our order don't even exist, but are either figments of our imagination or sock puppets of our Imperator.

I know this all sounds rather schizophrenic,  but these people at the same time claim there is no Golden Dawn flame war.

If there is not flame are they so completely obsessed with our order that they publish attacks, misrepresentations, and personal insults nearly every day?

The Golden Dawn flame war took took a sinister turn last week, when the Facebook Page and Group belonging to our order were attacked and disabled by a complaint letter to Facebook invoking the United States Golden Dawn trademark.

Our order intends to restore our original Facebook presence. Meanwhile, in repsonse to this hostile takedown of our Facebook presence, I have been brought in as press secretary and we have secured top trademark legal representation.

Meanwhile, we have started both temporary Facebook group and page. To avoid another improper takedown, we are on these pages fully asserting our legal rights as sole and exclusive owner of the HERMETIC ORDER OF THE GOLDEN DAWN® (OHIM reg. 000063925) trademark in all 27 countries of the European Union.

We have been asked on Facebook today what our intentions as an order are. At this juncture, we intend only to get our original Facebook presence restored. We are not interested in any sort of hegemony over the Golden Dawn community. We have already fought long and hard to preserve diversity and we have successfullye prevted a trademark monoploy by any one Golden Dawn order.

We will, however, not stand by idly and permit intereference in the normal day to day operations of our order.

We seek only the restauration of our Facebook presence and there be no further interference in the normal business operation of our order.

We are the sole and exclusive owners of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn® trademark in the European Union (reg. 000063925) and additionally own the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn International® trademark in Canada (CIPO Reg. TMA510387). In the United States, we operate by legal agreement adopted by the United States District Court as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, outer order of the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega. We additionally own the R.R. et A.C. trademark of our Second Order, Ordo Rosae Rubeae et Aureae Crucis® (CIPO Reg. TMA506051) and the Alpha et Omega trademark of our three order superstructure founded by S.L. Macgregor Mathers in 1906, Ordo Rosae Crucis, Alpha et Omega® (CIPO Reg. TMA508937).
