2013!!! International Golden Dawn Pow Wow for Peace and Harmony in the GD Community

April 5 - 15, 2013
Just Outside Las Vegas
in Pahrump, Nevada, "The New Old West"
View of Mt. Charleston from Pahrump

99% of all Golden Dawn Initiates and Adepts world-wide want peace and harmony in the Golden Dawn community. Nearly everyone is fed up with the negativity that has plagued our community for two decades now.

We here in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and the AO are serious about promoting peace and harmony in the Golden Dawn community. Last year's International Conclave of Golden Dawn Adepti - with Adepts from 9 countries in attendance - was a huge success and a major step in the right direction.

This year we are planning something even better for our community!

Last time we invited only Golden Dawn Second Order Adepts. This time we are inviting the ENTIRE Golden Dawn community to share a week of magic and brotherhood with us at Isis-Hathor temple in Pahrump, Nevada, near Las Vegas, from March 29 through April 9, 2013.

And, guess what? As an added bonus:

"The Secret Chiefs this year will release new teachings and magic for the Outer Order ...

... And we will share this with the ENTIRE Golden Dawn community at Pow Wow!"

That's right! Even Neophytes just starting with the Golden Dawn are welcome to attend Pow Wow and share in the new magic, no matter what order you belong to!

EVERYONE is invited, from lowest Neophyte even to the 1% of Golden Dawn leaders spreading negativity about us. We invite all Golden Dawn leaders everywhere to put negativity, fear, and mistrust behind, and join us instead in creating true and lasting peace in the Golden Dawn community. We do not need to agree about everything. If you need us to, we can even choose a better date...

But remember - your members too are as fed up with the same old negativity as HOGD and AO members are. Let's show the world together what the Golden Dawn is really made of!

In addition to 10 days of good food, great lectures, and plenty of magic, we will also take in some of the local sights - from Las Vegas to Death Valley, Tecopa Hot Springs, Red Rock Canyon, and even the Valley of Fire. Please RSVP using the contact us link here and we will send you complete information including about local accomodations - from staying on temple grounds to nearby 5 Star luxury resorts.

Here are some photos from last years International Conclave, together with some of the sights nearby Pahrump:

  1. Thanks for these news; definitely I will be there next year.

  2. Bravo! Imperator Les, for extending this olive branch to our order's detractors. I, for one, am humbled by you launching this peace initiative, unprecedented in the history of the Golden Dawn, even while you and your family are still in hiding due to recent death threats. I have always respected your leadership, but this tops everything.
I am moved to tears, as you raise the banners of our Rose to champoin peace even in the face of such adversity. I wish both you, your wife, and your son well. You are all in my prayers. May your family soon be able to return to your home and may your return be crowned by the success of this inititive ushering a new era of peace and harmony in the Golden Dawn community.

  3. Thank you Nemesis for your kind words. As the days drag to weeks, the stress of being displaced from our home and forced into hiding by death threats is increasingly wearing on my family.

Thus, your prayers and those of the rest of you are dearly appreciated.

Rest assured that NOTHING can ever extinguish the sacred light of Golden Dawn mysteries pouring forth richly now from the Secret Chiefs from behind the veil.

Even should the assassins ultimately strike me down, 50 more would merely rise in my place, for such is the chivalry of Alpha Omega.

    For the Rose!

  4. This is a wonderful initiative! It is time the aspirations of the 99% overturned the fears of the 1% in proving that we are ONE GD community - and no longer willing to be divided by those who wield hidden agendas from the shadows.

Standing together in our diversity, we can be so much stronger than we will ever be while ripped apart by the unending disharmony.

  5. Again the Alpha et Omega is showing signs of respect for others, tolerance, brotherhood. This invitation can build bridges between different groups Golden Dawn, and allows all the Fraters and Sorors around share as brothers.

    Great news!!!

  9. I am very happy to see that Morgan has published on his blog information about the Pow Wow Peace Initiative. Morgan was clear in asserting a disclaimer that his publication of the information was not an endorsement, but rather that he was doing his job as a Golden Dawn blogger to pass the news.

Your disclaimer is well-taken, Morgan, and I think that you handled this broadcast to the wider Golden Dawn Community very well. It is appreciated and respected.

I also hope, Morgan, that you will attend this Pow Wow, along with any others who wish to see peace and harmony return to the greater Golden Dawn community.

  11. Well, there goes that! I was interested in the Golden Dawn and its teaching with the view of becoming a member. But having spent the last hour going through the blogs of Nick Farrell, Morgan Eckstein, Robert Zink, Deanna Bonds, and Peregrin Wildoak, as well as Pat Zalewksi's forum to find out more, I have just confronted absolute spleens worth of bile, hate and anger. How can anyone be serious in following the Royal Way if this is how Golden Dawn leaders conduct themselves? I was a sincere and motivated seeker, and I have found exactly what I was hoping to avoid; instead of spiritual progress and talk of development I have found petty politics and name calling. Utterly disappointed and no longer wishing to follow a Golden Dawn path.

There is not doubt that the two decade old Witch Hunt against our order had turned off a significant number of people to the entire Golden Dawn tradition.

This is one important reason why our order is leading the way in promoting peace and harmony in the Golden Dawn community by inviting EVERYONE to our upcoming International Golden Dawn Peace and Harmony Pow Wow.

It is sad to hear stories like yours, which Is why I sincerely hope that this latest peace initiative will succeed.

  13. Thank you for this HOGD. Many people have been put off of the Golden Dawn because of all of the infighting. I hope the other GD leaders will put hatred away and sit down with you. This is the most positive thing I have seen in the GD in a very, very long time.

  14. Thinking spiritually-seeking beings, throughout history, have always disagreed. It is in this conflict that one establishes in themselves what there is to die for and hence live a completely worthwhile life.

What you are saying closely resembles the very essence of chivalry - although not a Golden Dawn concept one of the absolute fundaments of the Alpha Omega.

    Avete,

It is uplifting to hear such a response.

Sub Umbra Chirographis Triumviri, Ordo Rubeae Rosae et Aureae Crucis, et Ordo Rosae Crucis Alpha et Omega,

G.H. Frater Daemon est Deus Inversus, Adeptus Exemptus (7=4)

  17. Unsurprisingly, this morning Peregrin Wildoak's latest Meat Puppet published yet another long screed full of venom attacking our Imperator, thus attacking every good brother and sister of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha Omega, and inflicting even more negativity on the ENTIRE Golden Dawn community by extension.

Sorry, Peregrin, but 99% of ALL Golden Dawn members EVERYWHERE, including your OWN students, are sick and tired of all of the negativity in the Golden Dawn community.

It is quickly beccoming clear just WHO is DESPERATELY attempting to perpetuate strife though.

The 1% of misguided Golden Dawn leaders who create strife will no longer run roughshod over the 99% of Golden Dawn members who want peace and harmony in the Golden Dawn community.

The destructive game of the 1% is exposed and they continue it:

    1. against the will of their students and

    2. risking extreme consequences like what happened to Robert Zink.

Sorry, Peregrin. All of the poison filled ravings of all the Sock and Meat Puppets in the universe is not going to derail the upcoming Golden Dawn Peace and Harmony Pow Wow!

The time for Peace and Harmony is NOW.

    Remember, Peregrin:

    "The whole world is watching!"

Let's give Peregrin the benefit of the doubt. Even Peregrin is welcome at the Pow Wow. Heck, he is welcome even to bring his whole entourage of meat puppets if he likes ;-)

  19. Morgan wrote another strange blog today. Judging from his initial reaction to the announcement of the Pow Wow, I was about to compliment him for also taking a stand for peace and harmony in our common GD community. Was I wrong to give him the benefit of the doubt? Today it looks like I was.

  20. Basically, I am tired of listening to Nemesis and Anoymous accusing me of being a traitor to Golden Dawn. Their comments make me want to say bad things about your Order, therefore it is best that I never read another word that they write--which means never reading anything else by this Order. Thanks Nemesis for making my decision easier.

Thanks for getting that off of your chest, Morgan.

Clearly, 20 years of polarization and tension are not easy to put behind us as a community. Still, this is what 99% of Golden Dawn members want.

The time has come to build bridges rather than tear them down.

  21. Morgan claims he needs a chart or scorecard to keep all of our claims straight? I am not aware of any major inconsistencies, so perhaps he could state his case instead of wandering off into vague accusations.

Morgan also says that he is upset about the things written about him here that are untrue... yet there have only been answers to the usual anti-AO talking points, and if we have been incorrect in any factual matter we have always been ready to retract and apologise.

The challenge for Morgan and a small cohort of negativity loving GD Leaders, is that their OWN members are as tired of all this as we are.

The Imperator has announced a Peace Initiative - it will soon be VERY clear to the whole community just who is and who is not interested in building Peace, and thereby giving their membership what they all truly want.

Words are cheap - we are offering solid actions to back up our "claims" - but it seems that Morgan's willingness to publish news of our Pow Wow does not extend to him also grasping the proffered olive branch...

We can but wait and see, but his recent words do not augur well.

The whole community is tired of all this Morgan, so why not at the very least just give it a rest and drop the aggro?

  22. I am also surprised at Morgan's latest blog article. I honestly thought that his earlier very neutral post about the Pow Wow and the call for peace indicated that he was attempting to depolarize.

Today, it looks like I was off on that one, which saddens me somewhat.

In order to give peace and harmony a chance, we have to lower the hackles and look past the rhetoric past and present.

I am willing to do that, Morgan. Can you?

  23. @ Morgan Eckstein
When it is obvious that one's position is lost and a paradigm shift begins to occur, you would be surprised at the mental edifaces a person is willing to construct in order to maintain the previous more desirable paradigm.

  24. The very fact that I am called "negativity loving" and "absolute spleens worth of bile, hate and anger" makes me not want to bother. Is this the same type of language I would be forced to listen to if I was there in the flesh? If it makes me upset online, I am not sure that I want to risk my reaction when I am exposed to it in person. Peace efforts require work on both sides--I am not going to agree to peace if it means that you are going to continue to kick me.

    1. My experience with anger has yet to be primarily linked to the cause that I had deceitfully agreed upon. I LOVE YOU! For what other reason am I here? I love your wife's crafts too. I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with inspired creation. I am also certain that it will be a pleasure to meet you both in person.

That makes sense. I have no doubt that things were said in our order's defense that you found hurtful. With the absolute Zerg rush of attacks on our order from a variety of quarters, including your blog and one other today, it is only natural that our members have been rather prickly towards you.

Our orders can wag fingers at one another for two decades more though. or we can set out on a different course.

The best way to let all of that go is to get to know one another better, community wide. This is why the Pow Wow is so important.

What you have to look forward to at Pow Wow is good food, good people, good magic, and a good soak in a natural hot spring.

  26. @Morgan

We all have to carry the consequences of our words and actions. Your blog has in the past been the source of much that was hurtful to members of this Order, but I know that I for one am apt to give as good as I get... and that can soon spiral into a black hole if neither side is willing to bury the hatchet.

I have zero interest in hurting you. Personally, I like your work and I get many a laugh from the antics of you and your cats.

Nor should anything any of us have said be taken as a blanket condemnation of the whole person. I wish we would all write in e-prime sometimes, but it tends not to work if only one adopts the method!

Let me try it this way: At times Morgan, you have seemed through your blog to be more invested in negative sentiment directed against our Work in AO/HOGD than you have been in positive actions directed towards the wider Golden Dawn community in which we both play a part. This does not mean that you spend hours each day dreaming up ways to appear as nasty as possible to AO members, or even that you give the matter much thought on a daily basis... and you may well spend the rest of your time in devotion to positive pursuits that we hear almost nothing about.

[No "I" or "is" in that...]

You have many faces Morgan, and not all of them are turned our way in masks we may interpret as hateful. We also have many facets to our characters, but in a defensive fight we don't so often get the chance to show them, and what is worse, when we do there is all too often a hail of verbal bullets as a result... and over months, and years, that does get to feeling like abuse.

So yes... we decided not to be nice kids, we decided to hit back instead. However, we have NEVER wanted this. We were just done with hoping it would all go away, when it patently wasn't going to.

Maybe you got more harshness than you really deserved on the balance of the full 20 year history, I don't know - but I do know this:

We say Pow Wow - we MEAN Pow Wow! We will not be sniping at you if you attend, we will be genuinely delighted that you chose to work for Peace through allowing us all to learn about each other, firstly as human beings here or Planet Earth.

I am sorry that ANYONE has been hurt in these months and years of bitter exchanges, you included. Help us to build a better future together!
